2025 BTC Scholarship Winners
Congratulations, Graduates!
We are proud to announce the recipients of the 2025 BTC Scholarships! These exceptional students were selected based on their leadership, character, academic achievements, and community involvement. BTC Bank and its non-profit, AYBC, award a total of $15,000 in scholarships annually to help students pursue their post-secondary education and reach their full potential.
BTC Bank President’s Memorial Scholarship:
BTC AYBC EverFi Scholarships:
$2,500: Langsten Johnson – Chillicothe High School
$1,500: Autumn Dotson – Cameron High School
$1,000: Katelyn Jones – Pattonsburg High School
BTC Bank Presidents Memorial Scholarship
This $5,000.00 one-time scholarship was established to honor past presidents of BTC Bank and to help prepare the next generation of finance and agriculture leaders.
To apply, you must meet the following requirements:
- Be a High School Senior within the BTC Bank service area who has exhibited academic achievement.
- Plan to enroll in a full-time course of study at a college or university majoring in finance, agriculture or closely related field.
- Demonstrate a commitment to personal growth and community betterment through participation in servant leadership and civic activities at school and in the community.
- Student must submit a 500-word essay. In 500 words or less, the student should discuss how they selected their intended field of interest or major.
BTC Area Youth Benefit Corp EverFi Scholarship
This one-time scholarship will be awarded to six applicants that have earned certification in the EverFi Financial Education Program funded by BTC Bank for schools in our service areas.
To apply, you must meet the following requirements:
- High School Senior planning to attend an accredited 2-year, 4-year or vocational/trade school in the U.S.
- Completed all eleven modules of the EverFi Financial Literacy Program. For more information about the EverFi program, please call 660-425-7285.
- Submit certificate of completion in the EverFi Financial Literacy Program.
- Be committed to using finance practice to better your life and that of your family and/or community.
- Student must submit a 250-word essay. In 250 words or less, the student should discuss how completing the EverFi program will benefit you in college and thereafter.
Deadline
Submission and Selection
- You will be redirected to Blackbaud Applicant Portal to sign in and complete your scholarship applications.
- First-time users will be prompted to create an account on the platform. Creating an account allows you to track the status of your applications, receive updates, and manage your scholarship submissions efficiently.
- Students may apply for both scholarships, but each scholarship requires a separate application.
- Any applications received after the deadline will not be considered.
- The recipient(s) will be announced before May 1, 2025.
