Brenda Dougherty Joins BTC Bank as VP, Loan Officer at Fayette Branch

BTC Bank is proud to announce the addition of Brenda Dougherty as Vice President and Loan Officer at its Fayette location.

With over 25 years of banking experience, Brenda brings a wealth of lending knowledge to BTC Bank, having most recently served as VP of Lending and Branch Manager for another bank in Fayette. She has held a number of positions in the industry and is dedicated to providing customers with an exceptional experience. 

“I enjoy working with my customers,” said Brenda. “I get to know everything about them. I want to know them on a personal as well as professional basis, and I want them to know that they can call me when they have a problem and I will try to help solve it.”

Brenda and her husband Harry are longtime Howard County residents and reside on the family century farm. They have three grown children and eight grandchildren. In addition to her career in lending, Brenda and her husband, along with their son, engage in a diversified operation of cattle and row crops. 

As a longtime community member, Brenda is passionate about serving her community. Whether it is volunteering for a community event or participating in a food drive, Brenda enjoys taking the opportunity to be involved.

“I have always been involved in the community,” said Brenda. “Whether it be school, Relay for Life, food collection for the food bank, holiday house, or anyone that may need help, I have volunteered.”

Brenda exemplifies the BTC Bank mindset of being agriculturally minded, service-oriented, and driven to strengthen the communities it serves. BTC Bank’s Fayette location opened in January 2023, and Brenda will join the team in continuing to grow the branch’s portfolio and strengthen community ties.
