The new location follows four months of lending operations for farmers, small businesses, and families in the Pocahontas area, and fulfills a commitment the 100-year-old institution made in May 2026 to expand into a full-service bank.
“Opening a loan production office in Pocahontas was an obvious choice for BTC Bank, seeing the character of the bank so closely reflected in the deep farming and small-town roots of the region,” said Jon Fish, Chief Banking Officer of BTC Bank. “The support we received during our first months in Pocahontas confirmed there is a need for strong community banking in the area, and we look forward to answering that need with the values and personalized approach unique to BTC Bank. I think the area will see just why we are Missouri’s No. 1 Agriculture Bank, and I am confident we can share that quality of service with folks in Arkansas as well.”
Among those values is BTC Bank's belief that community banking extends beyond financial services. Initiatives such as the BTC Bank Mascot Debit Card Program, Area Youth Benefit Corp. scholarship and grant programs, and local FFA and 4-H sponsorships have become established parts of the bank's culture in the markets it serves.
“We are looking forward to supporting customers across all areas of banking but as locals, my team and I are especially excited to give back to our hometown,” said Mulock. “By expanding to a full-service banking location, we can really walk the walk when it comes to BTC Bank’s commitment to agriculture, youth, and community.”
In addition to connecting funding access to civic organizations and students, BTC Bank’s mission is reflected in the products and services it can now offer to customers in and around Pocahontas. According to Mulock, the new full-service location adds personal and business deposit accounts, online banking, drive-through banking, ITM and ATM access, wealth management, and trust services to the lending services already established in the market.
“What makes BTC Bank different,” said Fish, “is our century-long track record of directly reinvesting deposits in the people and families who make agriculture possible. We may be new to Arkansas but we definitely aren’t new to rural life or to advancing opportunities for families, farms, businesses, and future generations. We are here for good.”
