Community Involvement
As a community bank, BTC Bank is proud to support a variety of community events. Each year, our team works closely with Mark Smith, Leon Rodeo President, and Long Creek Graphics to create and sponsor the annual Leon Rodeo t-shirt. BTC Bank donates over 750 shirts to the rodeo, including one for every volunteer, 4H and FFA member involved in the County Fair. The rodeo keeps all proceeds of shirts sold to the general public. This is a small way we can help promote the event and support our local organizations as well.
We are also proud to support our local university, Graceland University. Since we opened our doors, we have contributed to the Graceland Athletic Program. We regularly support smaller needs, as well as larger ones such as helping to sponsor a new digital scoreboard located at the Graceland University football field. This project is a win-win, as the scoreboard will be used by the Graceland University team and our local high school football team.
Throughout the year, we donate our time and resources to our community. From donating the cost of labor to build a new golf cart shed at our local golf course, to helping with events held in Decatur County, our employees are committed to giving back. We also provide popcorn and popcorn bags to our local school concession stands to support our local youth activities like youth Baseball and Basketball programs and so much more.
